A pirâmide de Maslow e o processo educacional contemporâneo: uma revisão da literatura

Resumo

Foi realizada uma revisão da literatura produzida entre 2018 e 2022 em torno da pirâmide de Maslow no campo da educação, com o objetivo de fornecer uma análise atualizada do assunto. É feita uma apresentação descritiva e analítica dos dados coletados nas bases de dados educacionais Centro de Informação de Recursos Educacionais (ERIC®) e GRAÓ®, bem como nas interdisciplinares Scielo® e ScienceDirect®. Foi encontrado um número limitado de investigações que abordaram o tema com precisão, principalmente dos Estados Unidos. O total de estudos considerados foi de 50, em sua maioria representados por artigos científicos. Foram identificadas quatro linhas temáticas que relacionam a pirâmide de Maslow e a educação: métodos e padrões educacionais, uso de tecnologia, ruralidade e preditores comportamentais. As abordagens tendem a coincidir ao indicar que atender às necessidades dos indivíduos enriquece o processo educativo. Na prospectiva, foram identificadas lacunas de pesquisa em torno do tema na América Latina; da mesma forma, a escassa produção global identificada mostra-se pertinente para realizar uma nova revisão nos próximos anos.
